EL OSO PELIGROSO RETURNS?

hello children,

i'm sorry i have been away for so long. i've been busy, off my back, okay? let's do away with words and just play some music. these baroke boys are off to a good start it seems, now if they could only order me a t-shirt that actually fit my 8 foot 11 inch, 650 lb frame, i'd be truly happy. maybe next time...

dig it:

PARTS AND LABOR - Fractured Skies

Parts and Labor are noisy and punky and poppy and triumphant and hyper as hell. this is off their upcoming record called Mapmaker out may 22nd. buy it!

JATUN - Ghost and Grey

i first heard Jatun during some Nike commercial (yep Nike, randy!) and it took me like 3 days to find the song and then the record. it's pretty good stuff if you dig M83 or Ulrich Schnauss. you know, dreamy electronic my bloody laptop head music. buy it!

that is Mr. Jay Reatard, he's from Memphis and he rules. he's in like 17 different bands, most notably The Reatards, The Lost Sounds, and that bloody mess of a solo record pictured above is called Blood Visions. don't let the cover fool you, it's an amazing slab of concise punk/garage pop that will get stuck in yr head upon first listen. it might the best record released since Y2k. believe it! what do you little snots know about punk rock anyway? you were all like 2 or 3 years old (if even) while i was a scared wallflower at american legion hall hardcore shows in the late 80's. no respect for El Oso? buy this record now!

JAY REATARD - My Shadow

JAY REATARD - It's So Easy

JAY REATARD - Nightmares

cheers people, maybe i'll be back again soon...

XOXO - El Oso
